Teresa Daggett

Teresa Daggett (formerly Teresa Sumearll) graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in English (1976), and received a Juris Doctor degree (2004) from the University of Washington School of Law, where she served as Special Projects Editor for the Washington Law Review. Following law school, Teresa worked at K&L Gates and DLA Piper in Seattle with a focus on corporate and securities issues. Prior to law school, Teresa worked for over twenty years in Seattle as a paralegal in litigation and corporate and securities matters.

I am passionate about working with entrepreneurs and businesses. A team player, I partner with businesses to achieve their goals by identifying the legal issues in a business. I love people and derive energy from being with others. I see the big picture, never taking my eyes off the client’s direction or goal, while still being detail-oriented. I am open and honest in communications with my clients and strictly maintain the confidentiality required of our relationship. I am conscientious, showing up on time and doing what I say I will do. I am happily married and the mother and step-mother to five kids.
